Attention to all Sarah J. Maas’ fans! A new board game based in the book series A Court of Thorns and Roses is bringing the magical world of Prythian to the tabletop. A Court of Thorns and Roses: Fate and Favor allows fans to step into the role of a high Lord or High Lady and compete for influence across the seven Courts.
A Court of Thorns and Roses: Fate and Favor Gameplay
Sarah J. Maas’ fantasy world comes to table top gaming with A Court of Thorns and Roses: Fate and Favor. The new board game based in the book saga will arrive this October for all fans to play. This will not be the first board game themed after A Court of Thorns and Roses. Goliath games announced this officially licensed strategy board game. The developers said that their goal was to combine strategic gameplay with authentic worldbuilding, capturing the atmospheres, relationships and themes that have made the series so popular worldwide.
How to play Fate and Favour
In Fate and Favor, players take the role of a High Lord or High Lady representing one of Prythian’s seven Courts: Night, Dawn, Day, Summer, Spring, Autumn or Winter. The game will feature original artwork and characters from the A Court of Thorns and Roses novels. Players will be able to revisit iconic locations and memorable moments while creating their own story within Prythian.
The player’s objective is to build influence across the realm while forming alliances, managing changing loyalties and using the court’s unique powers and character abilities to gain an advantage.
The game was announced at Gen con 2026 and it is expected to launch at retail this autumn.
ACOTAR Themed Monopoly
Fans of ACOTAR are also getting two themed Monopoly games. The two announced editions are inspired by the covers of the first book of the series. One will be inspired by the classic red cover of the book, and the green version will be an Amazon exclusive. The game also includes golden tokens that take inspiration from the books, including Feyre’s bow. Manors and palaces will replace the traditional hotels and houses in the original Monopoly game.
This Monopoly themed edition has a redesigned board that includes character-inspired details and references to the world of Prythian and ACOTAR.

Through events, character cards and cunning cards, players can develop their heroine and influence their chances of finding a suitable match.
The game is divided into Courtship and proposal. During the Courtship stage, players earn character points, attract suitors and collect cunning. The player that earns more cunning gains an advantage when the Proposal stage begins. The players then roll to determine which suitor proposes and decide whether to accept. The winner is the heroine who ends the game with the highest level of satisfaction, based on her final character and marriage score.
221B Baker Street: The Master Detective Game

221B Baker Street: The Master Detective Game is a detective board game inspired by Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes. Players take on the role of Holmes and travel through the streets and alleys of London, investigating a series of crimes and mysteries. Each case is presented as a story, with suspects and locations, while clues are hidden across 14 different locations across the city.
To win you’ll need to solve the mystery before other players do. During the game, you’ll visit locations to collect clues and record their findings as they work out the answers to the questions on the case card. Once a player believes they have solved the crime, they must return to 221B Baker Street and announce their solution. The first player to correctly solve the mystery wins.
Dune
