From the introduction: The Rebuild Rules provide the opportunity to update and adjust characters due to final release of D&D 5E Player's Handbook. Player characters remain true to their original concepts as created in the beginning of their adventuring career. Philosophically, no character may be modified primarily for min-maxing, nor to change its function within the party.
