Volstead Vigilantes is a role-playing game where the players take on the role of supporters of the Volstead Act of 1919 (aka Prohibition). The players are Volstead Vigilantes, people who take the law into their own hands when it comes to enforcing prohibition. Exactly how they do this will vary depending on their own choices and those of the gamemaster. For the most part, vigilantes are people of action and they are on the front lines in the war against the evils of alcohol. They may have special abilities which allow them to fight the demon alcohol and these abilities are decided based on their factions. Members of different factions may band together against their common enemy, but they are likely to have slightly different goals which may cause some friction between different members of the same group.
