Ahead of you lay a fiercely independent land of swamps, scattered village communities and hard-eyed people fighting for survival, as the fierce dusklings mount raid after raid. It will take determination to win through here. Welcome to a new campaign expansion for Five Leagues From the Borderlands, offering a brand new realm to explore. In a wet and rainy land, the feared dusklings are raiding ever more aggressively, leading to the call for heroes to hold the lines. The Marches is a pre-configured campaign featuring 5 villages, each with their own special circumstance and threat levels. The battles here will put you against the Dusklings: Orc-like raiders terrorizing civilization. The feature list includes: Simple rules for special terrain conditions and campaign adjustments, reflecting the unique circumstances of the Marches. Additional special rules for fighting the Duskling threat. Each of the 5 villages you have to clear has a special rule applicable to it. A new travel table for adventures in the Marches. A modified Monster table, including the new Swamp Lurker. 10 Unique encounters to experience. 3 new locations to visit. A 6 step quest adding new challenges and rewards as you play. The Distant Marches is intended to be played with Five Leagues From the Borderlands 2nd edition version 1.03 or newer, though any version from 1.0 Marmoset should work fine. —description from the publisher
