The Devoted Defender

Publisher's blurb: PROTECT WHAT'S IMPORTANT TO YOU! The Devoted Defender is a professional guardian, peerless in their ability to protect their charge from harm. When nobles and wealthy merchants and cloistered priests need someone who would take an arrow for them, they call upon a devoted defender - and they pay well for the privelege. This Archetype from the Archives is presented as a character build using existing rules, as a fighting style for fighters and paladins, as a martial archetype for fighters, as a feat for anyone, and as a faction that any trustworthy, skillful, and selfless protector can join. For the DM, quests are included that may prominently feature a devoted defender, and NPC's are provided to represent members of the organization. Get this, and the next time your friend is about to be hit by an arrow, you'll be able to do more than wave a shield in his general direction!
