The Bugbear No. 2: Race-as-Background

From publisher blurb: The Bugbear is a publication dedicated to stripping away the fluff from mechanics and re- skinning them so that Players and Referees have the kind of freedom that allows a bugbear to be a pumpkin-headed giant, a cross between a bug and a bear, or a giant hairy goblin. Variant rules for use with Ba5ic, a fantasy role-playing game that encourages players to explore worlds of magic, monsters, and whatever else they can imagine. The game is designed to be rules-light, making improvisational, pick-up, and long-term play a breeze for beginner and veteran players alike.
