The Show Must Go On

From publisher blurb: Franck Vissel, the event coordinator in Minstrel’s Rest, has an important task in hand. Dubina Rihmaninovia’s concert is a fortnight away and the venue requires protection. Minstrel’s Rest is a small hamlet, therefore, the couple of local guards are not enough to maintain order the day of the event, less so prevent a catastrophe. Rihmaninovia, the dwarven opera singer, is by far the best show Minstrel’s Rest has ever booked. People of high lineage are sure to crowd the place, thus attracting thieves and other low-lives. Franck is aware that simple city guards are not what an event of this magnitude needs. He posted messages around town with a bounty notice and he pays a visit to the inn and tavern once a day to see if it is his lucky day and find a group of sellswords having a drink.
