Sword & Sorcery

From the introduction: There are many types of magic in the realm of Middlemist, and yet all draw upon one thing: the energy of manna. This invisible but potent energy field can be found in all things, from the stem of an inconspicuous herb to the manna-drenched wytchwood of a wizard's staff. In the vast plains of the northern lands, manna pools flow like rivers through canyons and dells. In the ancient forests of central Middlemist, Forsthelm, Clanmarch and Sendrica, manna gathers in hollows and valleys where mages and druids harvest the energy and turn it into magical effects.
