From the introduction: The Karma Roleplaying System (KRS) is designed to facilitate role-playing. Instead of a stringent set of game mechanics, KRS provides a basic framework on which storytellers and players can build. Use the flexible point system to generate the characters you want to play, build the spells and magic items you want to use, create the races and monsters that you want to utilize in your world. The system requires only one twenty-sided die (d20) to play, and is designed to keep the need for rolls to a minimum. As players advance their characters, the chance of failing at certain tasks decreases, reducing the need for excessive rolls that can slow down the game.
