Heroes: Play as one of 4 Heroes in RoR: Thor, Freya, Heimdall, or Sif. Each has a different set of powers and must be ranked up through play to access all of their abilities. Runes: Roll the Rune Dice each turn. Various combinations of the runes will grant you Focus (the game currency) or any of 12 different spells (in 4 categories). Spells can be used in combat to strengthen your army or attack your Heroes. Minions: RoR features 24 different creatures (8 types with 3 variants each) which each have their own set of custom dice and combat abilities.
