There will be wealth that obsesses over found artifacts across the universe and there will be adventurers who come across ancient xenotech they have no idea how to use. Therefore, there must be specialists who provide services to solve these issues. These characters are designed to work independent of their setting and plopped into any other space station or planet. THE SEEDS: This is a passion project inspired by Chris McDowell’s work on Electric Bastionland and Sean McCoy’s + TKG’s work in the Mothership modules. Both provide subtle settings. They bake in assumptions and favor lore + flavor over canon. This is what Familiar Faces aspires to do. The seeds are scattered in the NPCs' acquaintances and motivations. Many of these seeds won’t be watered in-house during future issues, but we hope there ends up being hundreds of versions of the Laughing Sphinx Corporation, Uruk 1, and Eudaimonia
