PANDEMIA is a competitive strategy game for 2 to 5 players. In this game a very contagious virus has been detected in different regions of the world and is spreading fast. At the beginning of the game, players are given several regions that they must protect in exchange of points. To do so, players will manage different resources that will allow then to undertake different actions along the game such as develop vaccines, build walls to block the virus or get special cards that will help them during the game. Players can also influence which new regions the virus might infect each turn. This is finally decided with a roll-a-die mechanic meaning that luck is also somehow involved. —description from the designer
