Guandong Coalition is a bonus scenario in Board Wargame #8. You need to have "Records of Three Kingdoms 190-280" to play it. In this new scenario, we add a new strong force "Dong Zhuo". Guandong Coalition is a short scenario of "Records of Three Kingdoms" that can be played to completion within an hour. You need to own the game "Records of Three Kingdoms" and have its components to play this bonus scenario. It can be played by either two or four players. In the two players game, one player plays the role of Dong Zhuo and one player controls the whole Guangdong Coalition (represented by Wei, Shu and Wu forces). In the four players game, one player plays the role of Dong Zhou, the other three players play the role of Wei, Shu and Wu respectively. There are three factions in this scenario. Dong Zhou Alliance are formed by Dong Zhou and Lu Bu (enter game in Turn 1). Guangdong Alliance are formed by Tao Qian (Liu Bei enter game in Turn 1), Sun Jian (Sun Ce enter game in Turn 1), Cao Cao, Yuen Shu, Yuen Shao, Zhang Yang. Liu Biu, Liu Yan, Ma Teng, Gongsun Zen, Gongsun Du, Zhang Lu (enter game in Turn 1) and Liu Yao (enter game in Turn 1) formed the Neutral Faction. Players conduct Canvass – Ally actions to try gaining control of the Independent Forces. Guangdong Alliance must destroy Dong Zhuo forces before the game end. The Term "Independent Force" and "Neutral Faction" are used interchangeably.
