From the introduction: The Consortium is a corporate entity that is attempting to establish holdings in the Scythe. They offer many of the benefits of civilization, but at a cost of some freedoms. The players may choose to play the crew of a Consortium ship, or the crew of a free Scythe ship. This game setting is not intended to represent good or evil, heroes or villains. Neither faction is entirely right or wrong, and there are no moral absolutes in the Scythe. User summary: The game document includes print-and-play components.
