Description

Klin Zha (Klingon chess) is similar to "Earth" chess in that it is an abstract board game between two players. Pieces move and capture opposing pieces like in chess. It is played on a triangular board with triangular spaces. Initial setup is free: players may arrange their pieces in any manner they choose within their section of the board. The game was originally described in the Start Trek novel The Final Reflection by John M. Ford, also known for his contributions to the board game and RPG scenes. It was subsequently developed in a playable game by fans. Official website: http://www.tasigh.org/takzh/ (very old) More recent website with extensive rule documents: http://www.klinzha.com Online study tool: http://www.klinzha.com/study On the aforementioned http://www.klinzha.com, there's also a better ruleset that can be used with Zillions of Games. This ruleset is from 2010 and includes all twodimensional Klin Zha variants. The web site for the Italian Klin-Zha Society (https://www.klinzha.it/) lists sligthly different rules, and has details on all italian championships from 2001 onwards.
