From the introduction: In I Am Become Wrath, you will play as a ghostly avenger carrying out assassinations on behalf of a Goddess of Revenge. Getting to your mark, neutralizing them, and not getting caught by the Inquisition will test your skills at intrigue, espionage, infiltration, and mayhem. However, that’s the easy part. As a wraith, your character is the fusion of two amnesiac identities. One is a ghost who met an untimely end and spent their last moments alive pleading to She Who Cannot Be Escaped for vengeance. The other is a host, possessed by the ghost, who surrendered their free will to the same goddess to see their own enemies punished in their lifetime. The wraith you play remembers little of either the ghost or the host who comprise them. However, both will begin to rise to the surface during play and contest for control of the singular wraith. The victor will recover their memories while the loser will be devoured and scattered to infinity. As if this element of psychological horror was not enough, the identity that prevails will remember everything, including the cruel truth that the goddess they bargained with is not exactly what they thought she was...
