From the Introduction to the Book: Grim Pursuits is the third installment of the Gathering Darkness Campaign. This publication follows the same basic pattern of Dark Despair in that it is mostly scenario with background information on the settlements and roadside inns the players are likely to pass through. The Karak Hirn sourcebook is a companion to Grim Pursuits. Even though the former publication is not necessary to run the scenario, it is recommended that the GM should have Karak Hirn: Heart of the Hornberg readily available. Includes the scenario, maps and handouts with NPC statistics, appendices with new cults and spells and a gazetteer of Sudenland.
