Orcs value strength and this can be found in their weapons and armor. They field the heaviest armor they can manufacture or loot and the heaviest weapons they can find. They ride fierce beasts and intimidate even trolls into doing their bidding. They are fierce and brutal warriors with simple tactics, get stuck in as quickly as possible. Orcs use infantry, cavalry, chariots and monsters in thier armies. The core of any orc horde is the orcs themselves which come in all sizes and are invariably covered in armor and weapons. It is NOT about WAAC (Winning at all Costs) but about designing an army that fits your collection and play style as well as the background for the Universe you are playing in.
