User summary: Dragon Quest was the first release of software developer Enix' lately hugely successful series "Dragon Quest". Dragon Quest is a typical japanese role playing vide game. The player controls the main characters (unnamed), who travels from village to village, town to town, battling monsters in so-called random enxounters when on the world map, gradually buying new equipment in towns and following the story line to finally defeat the evil demon lord who threatens the peace of the world.
