This is the second supplement developed in Italy fr the Basic RPG. It is dedicated to an ancient Egypt full of magic and mysteries, and it won the Best of Show prize as best Italian game at the Lucca Games show, in March 1999. Character generation suggest some typical "classes" as the Scribe, the Warrior and the Priest. A set of additional skills are provided, including Bargain, Herbalist, Metal Smith. Following the path of "I Cavalieri del Tempio" and of the previous "Basic West", the sourcebok includes a rich historical section about life in ancient Egypt, with notes on military organization, politics and religion. A section of special rules describes typical weapons of Ancient Egypt, anther deals with amulets and magic rituals to allow players to divert from a strict historical setting if it suits their tastes - that's why the Priest class is akin to a wizard. For the same reason, the bestiary lists both real animals and magic creatures. The three adventures included are "Sogni di potere" ("Dreams of power), "Lunga vita al Faraone!" ("Long live the Pharao!") and "Libera nos a Hyksos!" ("Free us from Hyksos"). Two adventure summaries follw, to inspire game masters for their first modules.
