The deck of 36 ingredient cards is shuffled and placed face-down in the middle of the play area, where it's scattered to make all cards accessible. Play is simple and chaotic. Players grab at cards, one at a time, from the center and look at them. If they need the card, they keep it. If they don't, they put it back. Among the cards are four "rotten egg" cards.
