Baldur’s Gate 3 is widely considered a “true” RPG, even a pinnacle of the genre. The video game features almost 237 hours of dialogue with multiple options for answers and interactions that can change and reshape the story based on the player’s decisions. A total of 2,000 characters with whom players can interact, not only the ones in the party, but also multiple NPCs throughout the whole game.

Players can influence how other characters see them, gain their approval or their disagreement, which will impact their decisions and how the characters evolve and interact with them.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is a true gem of RPG video games, each run being different based on the player’s decisions and paths taken.

Three acts filled with adventure

The player portrays a character that has been abducted, infected and lost, all of it before starting Act One. The mind-flayer parasite in the character’s brain is turning them slowly into a monster. Caught in a conflict between devils, deities and sinister otherworldly forces, the player will decide the fate of the forgotten realms together with their party.

Explore the vast forest and the druid’s grove before heading to some of the most dangerous places of the realm. Visit the depths of the Underdark and the unpredictable Shadowlands. Every choice made drives the story forwards, each decision leaving a distinct mark on the world and the unforgiving consequences.

Explore your way into the city of Baldur’s Gate itself, confront powerful cults and enemies, political intrigue and cosmic forces behind the mind-flayer threat.
