Publisher's blurb: Snake Oil Salesmen typically work by different titles. Some will call them Doctor or Professor, while others will call them quacks, hucksters, and charlatans. These well-dressed frauds travel with their medicine wagons around the old West offering medicine to those hopeful or desperate enough to believe their claims of salvation. And once in a while their claims are true ... This list is intended for any Western game (like Boot Hill, Tall Tales, Deadlands, Wild West, Shooting Iron, etc.) where patches of civilization cluster around a small town or old fort. This list can be applied to a cornered con man, a greedy and grim money grubbing gent, or just as a way to add new dimension to your next plotting professor or dodgy doctor. NOTE: With this tool we sometimes refer to the Snake Oil Salesman with the abbreviation: SOS.
