Zakodowany Zamek (The Castle of Code) is an educational childrens game that will introduce young kids into the programming world of coding. Programming is a language of strings and instructions that one can read to understand the wirtual reality. The Castle of Code can develop the skills useful for programmers: concentration, patience, persistence and ingenuity. What's more: it is a cooperative game, so it builds social skills. It uses the idea of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths). All players are playing against the ghost and are trying to collect the gems hidden in a castle before the ghost will reach the peak of a tower. Players move the wise magician by the castle, use the hidden portals or a magic wand. The deck of cards is being used to determine the movement. There are cards with arrows, magician and ghost. Arrows show in which direction the magician will move - player may rotate the card to change its direction. The magician card can be used to move in each direction and ghist card will move the ghost up. At the beginning of the game players draw the 4 gems and place them on the board using the code on the back side of tokens. During each turn a player draw 3 cards, and move the magician or the ghost respectively. The game ends when magician (players) collect all the four gems, or when the ghost arrive at the top of a tower.
