User summary: Year Zero is a fan-created roleplaying game based on the alternate history timeline and aesthetic of Year Zero, the fifth studio album by American industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails (released by Interscope Records in 2007); the supporting promotional media campaign Year Zero Project; and the Year Zero ARG videogame. The Year Zero record is a concept album that criticized then-contemporary policies of the United States government by presenting a dystopian vision of the year 2022.
