User Summary Xexex is a horizontal shoot-em-up, with similarities to Irem's R-Type, as well as Konami's own Gradius. Your ship, called the Flintlock, comes equipped with a detachable (and upgradable) module, called the Flint, which functions similarly to the "Force" modules from R-type. The game contains seven varied stages, a rescue-the-princess storyline, and a striking, almost psychedelic art style which made heavy use of the special effects of the era.
