User Summary Xatax is a scrolling shooter for DOS. The story is fairly typical of these types of games: aliens are attacking Earth after having consumed all of the other habitable planets in their systems. The player must navigate their ship to avoid incoming fire and ships while destroying as many enemies as possible. Upgrades can be picked up which also provide some buffer to damage. Each hit will remove an upgrade and when the ship has no upgrades left, it will be destroyed.
