As the glowbes lit up more of the stadium, Xan let his eyes wander about the edges of the crowd. There! Off to the right, almost in the shadows. That same squat, balding man that seemed to be at each concert. Someone who probably wouldn’t be caught dead at a Xan Armanis concert unless he had an ulterior motive. Xan didn’t know what that motive was, but he was on to the interloper. Unknown to the man, Xan sang the last verse of the song to him: “But I see you, I see you and soon we’ll meet.” Xan Armanis clawed his way to the top of the subsector music scene from a hardscrabble existence under the glare of disapproving parents. But his enjoyment of fame was short-lived, as he found himself the unwitting participant in some sort of secret conspiracy…one that he knows will be the end of him if he doesn’t find a way to unravel it. Dossier: Xan Armanis is a short character sketch for 2D6 science fiction RPGs such as Cepheus Engine and the Original Science Fiction Roleplaying Game (OSFRPG), although it’s usable with other systems with a little work. The file offers a brief character sketch, a personality sketch, character motivation, character stats usable for CE and the OSFRPG, and suggestions for using this manipulated entertainer in the Referee’s own universe.
