World Sports Competition is a game based summer Olympics sport events. There are five different modes of play: OLYMPICS Competitions take place with 3 events per day over a 12 day period (6 day period in multi-player). Reaching "QUALIFY" status in each of the day's 3 events will bring up the NEWS screen and allow players to proceed to the following day. When disqualified, players will be able to choose to replay the events from the NEWS screen. TRAINING Players can select their desired competition. Following each event, players will be given the option to replay from the NEWS screen. CONTINUE There are two ways to resume playing. RECORD Players can view world records for all 18 competitions. The list will be updated each time a world record is broken (NWR). CONFIG Changes button configuration (Press and in alternate succession).
