Wondrous Creatures: Hellflesia

From publisher blurb: Known to be one of the deadliest plants in existence, the Hellflesia will claim one dimly light area of a forest or jungle for its own. Then, using its powerful blindsight, it will detect any creature nearby and ensnare it with its long, fleshy vines. With thick and leathery outer layers, these vines and the Hellflesia itself are tough and hard to cut through, thus leaving its prey almost helpless as they are pulled within the Hellflesia’s lair.
