Woluk

From publisher blurb: KEEPERS OF THE GREAT LIBRARY Originating from the edge of existence, the woluk met with little resistance in the rise of their civilization. As such, they were able to advance and grow quickly. With that quick growth, the woluk soon discovered that a civilization only remained for as long as it was able to maintain knowledge gained from the past. One of the great leaders of the woluk, silongesh, established the Grand Library in order to further this goal and took upon themselves the title of Grand Librarian. In the relative peace of woluk society, this honorific soon became one of the most sought-after positions from the various sects and guilds. Within mere generations, woluk society placed the study and acquisition of Knowledge as the key virtue of its civilization, and they produced excellent researchers, archivists, and chroniclers in pursuit of this virtue.
