Wizards & Warriors Chapter X: The Fortress of Fear is a video game in the Wizards & Warriors series, released for the Game Boy in 1990 by Acclaim, and developed by Rare. The game's hero, Kuros, must save the princess by traveling through the five levels of the Fortress of Fear and defeating the evil wizard Malkil. Although this was the third of four games released for the Wizards & Warriors series, it was called "Chapter X". During the ending sequence for Wizards and Warriors III - Kuros: Visions of Power, Kuros' arch rival Malkil sends him forward in time as a dying move.
