This six scenario pack revolves around battles involving AMERICAN FORCES in the European Theatre of Operation, during World War Two, and is compatible with MMP's ASL™ System and modifiable to be used with other miniature Wargaming systems. Note: WinPak #2 uses ASL boards (10,40,54,55) and ASLSK boards (p) The six scenarios are: Martinville Ridge, France, 9 July 1944: Elements of the 3rd Fallschirmjager Division supported by an Assault Gun launch a counterattack against Company A, 1st Battalion, US 175th Infantry Regiment in attempt to stem the American advance. The Americans, pounded by heavy fire and taking causalities, are forced to withdraw and are nearly routed... Media, Morocco, 9 November 1942: The Allied Forces have just landed in North Africa as apart of Operation TORCH; for the American, this operation is their first in the European Theatre. A key objective for the US 60th Infantry Regiment and its commander Brigadier-General Lucian Truscott is the airfield at Port Lyautey... Honinghutie, Holland, 18 September 1944: Just before dawn, a small force of American paratroopers of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment under the command of Lt. Lloyd Polette Jr. are tasked with securing Bridge #10 over the Maas-Waal Canal; in the fading darkness the forces breaks cover and races for the bridge... Pont de St. Fromond, France, 7 July 1944: The US crossing of the Vire River had gone better than anticipated, the 117th Infantry Regiment had three companies across under the cover of a heavy mist, and they fanned out to secure a bridgehead, Company G ran into resistance in the village of Pont de St. Fromond... Martinville Ridge, France, 9 July 1944: The German counterattack along Martinville ridge had managed to cut off several forward units of the American 29th Infantry Division. The Fallschirmjagers toting flamethrowers and supported by assault guns advance against the dug-in and lightly armed Americans... Mortain, France, 7 August 1944: For Operation Luttich SS-Panzer-Grenadier Division 17 "Gotz von Belichingen" now reduced to kampfgruppe strength was tasked with the capture of a ridge known as Hill 317. The hill, occupied by the 2d Battalion, US 120th Infantry Regiment, was located on the eastern side of the Mortain, which the Germans had earlier decided to bypass, but now had come back to sting them...
