Wings of Fury is an action game with some minor simulation aspects, in which you are the pilot of an American F6F Hellcat plane aboard the USS Wasp. The setting of the game is the Pacific during World War II. The goal of the player is to defeat the Japanese by destroying enemy bunkers, turrets and barracks on a series of islands and killing all the enemy soldiers either with bombs or machine guns. The player also must sink Japanese battleships, destroyers, and aircraft carriers. The weapons to complete these objectives are: bombs, rockets, and torpedoes.
