User summary Wild magic provides rules for the wild mage, a magic-user variant that uses wild magic. Whenever a wild mage casts a spell with variables for duration, area of effect or damage based on the caster's level, the wild mage rolls on a chart to determine at what level the spell is effectively cast. This may be one or more levels higher or lower than his current level. It may also effect in a wild surge, an unpredictable casting result that is determined randomly on a d100 table.
