Members of the an evil cabal and the human resistance are vying for the fate of the world. In order to summon a world-eating demon, an evil cult known as “The Cabal” is unleashing countless plagues on unsuspecting humanity. Fortunately, there is an underground "Resistance" that is fighting for the people on the surface. While they deal with various disasters, their Messenger will use his power to awaken and unite all of humanity. In this asymmetrical intimidation and worker-placement game, 4 players will battle for the fate of humanity. 1 player will take the role of the dark hand of the Cabal- guiding a number of natural disasters against the Earth. 1-3 players will form "The Resistance" and dispatch a number of their members to deal with these disasters while attempt to awaken humanity. Over the course of 5 rounds, the Cabal player will choose disaster cards that the Resistance players must take down together by properly assigning their resources. However, the Resistance players' true goal is to awaken all 9 representatives of humanity. The Cabal player can distract them by creating disasters, hiding their costs and reducing their resources.
