From the Introduction: Just off the road a small area has been cleared of trees to create a camp site for travelers. Currently this spot is occupied by a caravan, its wagons arranged in a circle as a wagon fort around the occupants tents and their fireplace. A large fire has been lit in the quite sizeable fire place at the centre of the camp site, to provide enough hot coals for cooking the evening meal as well as some heat against the chill of the night.
