Listed in American Games #4162. 1977, Advertising, Comics, Board Game. The object of the game is to win by becoming Senior VP Media first. Career points are acquired to reach the goal. Each of the number of job levels has 6 points. The job levels are Rookie Buyer, Assistant Buyer, Buyer, Buyer Supervisor, Assoc Media Director, V.P. Media director and lastly the goal Senior VP Media. The equipemnt is a board with 4 pawns for the players, 10 decks of cards, 2 dice, a "The Boss" sign, and four black pegs with a horseshoe shaped scoring track in the box bottom. Nine of the decks of cards are for the demographics categories, the tenth is for the "Challenge the Boss" deck. You can only challenge the boss when on a buy square. The board has an outside track for player movement. Players get 2 experience points for passing "Start." They can gain or lose experince points when they "buy" demographic results on the board's nine different demographic categories based on age and sex. You can get "fired" and sent to the "Unemployemnt Office" sqaure on the board. You remain there until you get rehired by roll of 9 to 12 on the dice. You can become the boss by getting promoted. There are sqaures with special instructions for "Take a long lunch", "Leave briefcase in cab", and "Work Overtime."
