Vikings vs Saxons plays out a skirmish between the Saxon settlers of dark age Britain and incoming Vikings some time in the 8th century. They meet at a bridge and fight to the death. There are three categories of men: Swords-men (movement: ortho/diag 3/2 squares); Axe-men (movement: ortho/diag 2/1 squares); Spear-men (movement: knights move). Two levels of winning depending on whether the loser surrenders/escapes or is entirely defeated. Leather board and wooden gaming pieces.
