User Summary Released shortly after Castlevania (1986), Vampire Killer combines platforming with a more open ended adventure scheme in which Simon Belmont navigates Dracula's castle to collect keys in order to advance to the final confrontation with the count. Konami opted for a more traditional platforming adventure, and Vampire Killer never made it to America.
