Troll Toll

From publisher blurb: Mini-Dungeon for 4 characters of levels 5–6 The Glamergreen River bridge used to be controlled by brigands who demanded a toll from travelers; the bandits did maintain the bridge, though, and their toll was reasonable. Dealing with the threats of the wilderness was hard on the outlaws, so the fee was generally deemed to be fair compensation. This changed recently, when a group of lake trollkin, driven to desperation by their village’s poverty, took control of the bridge. Ever since, the payment demanded has been rising, and when more and more merchants have their goods impounded, it’s time for adventurers to step in and “renegotiate” the Troll Toll—with steel and spells, if necessary!
