Travels & Travails

Travels & Travails for Grizzled Adventurers is a celebration of the frustrations of getting old. Most aged heroes agree that travel is a youngster's game, but few of us are fortunate enough to teleport home after conquering the dungeon. To help wind down after an adventure, we introduce simple and amusing rules for traveling home. For shorter evenings and trips that have gone sideways, we introduce minor locations and their many denizens. And for all those times that real life gets in the way, we talk forthrightly about the horrors of getting older and missing the adventure to celebrate a new grandchild in the family, or any of the many forms of family drama that plague the successful hero. Enjoy all of this, and a selection of magic items designed with the crotchety in mind. - from the publisher's blurb
