Transatlantic II is a re-implementation of Transatlantic on a historical world map of 1900. It's not only the game board, but the rules have been streamlined and changed in many ways, for instance: Ships sail to individual ports instead of entering a region. Each port has an individual Trade House. Trade houses have a new role with additional ways to score VPs. All ships remain at your side and score at the end of the game with no scrapping. Contracts allow you to purchase bonuses, which score in many different ways and offer additional goals to achieve (as a variant). Manage to run your steamship company through the rough waters of competition on the newest steamships, oversea ports, lucrative trade houses, coal bunkers, and the Blue Riband of the North Atlantic.
