Then you can purchase additional decks for more players (you need one additional cotton case to keep those extra decks). In order to make things simpler, the base game contains all eight cars and counters. The base game (2 players) contains: pad (circuit), 2 lap markers (gray), cotton case, 8 plastic cars, 8 plastic counters, 2 decks, one plastic 'safety car' (finally!), rulebook.
