From publisher blurb: Loosely inspired by Deir-el-Medina, which housed the workers who built the tombs in Egypt's Valley of the Kings, the village of Orek exists to house laborers and elite artisans hired to build a necropolis for the ruling dynasty (or whomever is rich enough to build such a thing for themselves). However, Orek has become a gilded cage for them. No one important enough to be buried here has died for a long time, so paid work is scarce. When your party stumbles into Orek they'll have the chance to make some extra coin on the black market and snag some useful mundame items. But when they learn that some desperate residents have started raiding the tombs they helped build, they'll have to choose between running interference for grave robbers and selling them out to the authorities. Tomb Raiders of Orek is published under the Open Game License. It does not specify a particular campaign setting, and it allows you to integrate it into your own campaign world by filling in various details. You can use it as a stand-alone module, or continue the adventure with the forthcoming Places by the Way #12, Into the Royal Tombs.
