From publisher blurb: The Years Between is an alternate method for quickly leveling characters in a fantasy role-playing campaign. This 20pp supplemental booklet is specifically styled for Dungeon Crawl Classics by Goodman Games. However, with mild adaptation it can be used for any fantasy roleplaying system. To level by standard means, a PC must survive multiple low-level adventures, but with The Years Between the leveling process is accelerated in order to serve the Judge's needs or make higher level modules achievable. Before each adventure, the Judge should check to see if all PCs have the required levels needed. If not, each PC will move through the steps below to achieve the needed level(s) and create the story of that experience.
