The Vermilion Knights protected the innocent from evil a long time ago. They were suddenly defeated and were declared war heroes. Their most valued treasure was supposedly interred in a vault. Many have tried to explore the shunned dungeon but the traps and guardians within have proven to be too much for would-be adventurers and petty robbers. Now, the characters have the chance to find a magical artifact and learn the truth of what happened to the Vermilion Knights.
