Valiant Voltigeur is the Small War set of rules for the Napoleonic period. Accurately addresses Column vs. Line, Cavalry vs. Square, 3 rank musketry vs. 2 ranks, artillery and cavalry. Flank and rear attacks are devastating just as Napoleon intended. The Two Page Rules series features rules that are 2 pages long with one combat card that has the information needed to play the game. The sequence of movement is decided by a dice roll and after that, the games follow the sequence of move-fire-move-fire. Casualties are decided simply and effectively. Morale is divided into 4 stages with the chance to rally at each stage. New players should be able to conduct their own transactions by the third move.
