During the ten years that passed, Sir Robert fell in love with his best friend’s wife, Amelia. On a Saturday night, when Sir Robert and Amelia were spending some private time together, the pact with the demon finally came to an end. The demon took possession of Robert, forcing him to murder Amelia, thereby losing the two things most important to him: Amelia and the friendship of Sir Loras, his best friend. Drowned in sorrow and unable to confess to Sir Loras about what happened, he took his own life. Because of the power bestowed upon him by the demon, Sir Robert had become undying. He rose again several days later in the crypts near the town of Blackside. Realising he had been fooled and filled with endless hatred, he took the life of every living creature within that crypt, denying the dead the peace they deserve.
