The Slime

From the introduction: People are so strange, aren’t they? They’re opaque, unreadable, dull, unyielding. Their lives would be so much more interesting with you in it. Sure, they might not understand. You’re a little alien to them, bright and shiny and cheery in their dark little world. But you’ll worm your way in, creep up close and stick like glue. No matter what they have going on, there’s always room for jello.
